Manipulation of import and export prices
A technique where
goods are shipped and the buyer either under or over pays. This
allows monetary worth to move from one country to another. It may
also be used to avoid taxes. They are known as fraudulent transfer
pricing schemes. Often exports are under valued, because governments
watch imports so that they collect import taxes.
